PATTERN INFORMATION

Allow yourself to be embraced by the warm rays of the sun with Sunbeam Rib - an elegant short-sleeved cardigan that exudes spring and lightness. Inspired by the golden rays of the sun breaking through the clouds in delicate, straight lines, this ribbed cardigan combines classic elegance with a modern touch.

The cardigan is worked in two threads held together for a beautiful marled look. The cardigan is worked from the top down with raglan increases. While the yoke is being worked, the sleeves are put on hold and the body is finished. Afterwards, the sleeve stitches are put back onto the needles and worked separately. Finally, stitches are picked up for the neckline and button bands. The button bands are worked first and the stitches from those are put on hold so that they can be joined with the neckline, which results in some nice straight lines. All edges are finalized with Italian ribbing for the final finish.

The Sunbeam Rib Cardigan has a slightly oversized fit with a positive ease of 10-15 cm / 4-6 in.
